When you were dying, the whole family plunged into despair. It was heartbreaking to see you lying in a hospice bed in so much pain. It was hard to imagine that this was the same person who was previously so active and full of life. I hated that hospice filled with the smells of sickness and death but it gave us the opportunity to share moments that I will treasure for the rest of my life. People say the death of your mother is the hardest to bear for she is the one who is there for us the most – I know there will always be such a special part of me missing and life will never be the same without you xxxx
